Welcome! I'm an experienced Instructional Designer with a background in higher education. I currently work with Symbiosis Educational Consultants, where I collaborate with a team on eLearning course design and development.
My interest in the world of instructional design grew out of my work as an English professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where I have specialized in developing asynchronous and hy-flex eLearning courses. I have expertise in digital, blended, and hybrid instruction modalities.
My approach is theory-driven and outcomes-focused, ensuring that each learning solution I create is tailored to meet specific learning objectives and improve performance. My work is characterized by a deep understanding of instructional design models such as ADDIE and SAM, and I am proficient in a variety of eLearning development tools.
In addition, I have earned a certificate in assistive learning technology from the Glasgow Caledonian University of London; I am committed to creating learning experiences that are accessible and inclusive, employing universal design principles to meet diverse learner needs. I have experience working with Spanish and English content, as well as SMEs whose primary language is Spanish.
